Awn Card is a Qard Hasan-based card designed for individual employees whose salaries are deposited with ATIB. It provides accessible financial support to help cover seasonal, family, educational, or other essential needs through marketing campaigns launched throughout the year. The approved Qard Al-Hasan amount is directly credited by the ATIB into the card, which is exclusively used through electronic payment channels, with no interest or profit charged on the principal loan amount, in full compliance with approved Sharia and regulatory guidelines.

Terms and conditions

Before starting to fill out the bank account opening form, users can review the general terms and conditions for opening a current or investment account with ATIB Bank. The user cannot proceed with filling out the form unless they agree to the bank’s terms and conditions.

"Know Your Customer" Form

The online account opening application form includes all the fields of the Know Your Customer (KYC) form, in addition to fields for uploading files such as: birth certificate, passport, and employment/university enrollment certificate.

How to Get the Awn Card?

Procedures

  1. The customer submits their request to open an account and select a package through the website, and receives a one-time password (OTP) on their mobile phone to verify the accuracy of the entered phone number.
  2.  The team handling online individual account opening requests reviews the applications daily, verifying the accuracy of the provided information and required documents, and cross-checking them with the National ID system as a final verification step. Upon approval, a restricted current account is opened, allowing only credit transactions.
  3. The team contacts applicants with approved requests to schedule a branch visit to confirm the customer’s eligibility and have them sign the electronically generated account opening form.

  4. Once the customer signs the form at the branch and deposits the amount for the selected banking package, the debit restrictions on the account are lifted, and the banking package is activated immediately.
  5.  **Note:** If the entered data or attached files are inaccurate, the request will be rejected, and the applicant will receive an SMS notification regarding the status of their request.
  6. Approved requests will be cancelled by the bank after one month if the customer does not visit the branch to pay for the selected banking package and sign the printed form.

1. Calculate and Choose the Most Suitable Package

Enter your monthly salary into the financing calculator to explore the available Qard Al-Hasan packages, then choose the financing amount, repayment period, and monthly installment that best suit you.

2. Complete the Application and Upload the Required Documents

Required documents :

  • Passport
  • Salary certificate*
  • Employer undertaking not to transfer the salary

* Salary must have been deposited with the bank for at least 6 consecutive months.

3. Submit the Application and Track Its Status

Submit your Qard Al-Hasan application for review by the bank. You will be notified of your application status via SMS.

If approved, you will receive a notification confirming that your Awn Card is ready for collection from the branch. If rejected, you will be informed of the reason for rejection and may submit a new application after resolving the issue.

4. Collect Your Card

After final approval, visit the branch and collect your card.

What are the eligibility requirements for the Awn Card?

Employed in the public or private sector
Salary deposited with the bank for at least 6 consecutive months prior to application
Net monthly salary higher than 900 LYD
Age between 18 and 65 years
Valid phone number registered and linked to the bank
Acceptable internal or external credit/repayment history
Remaining employment period sufficient to cover the selected repayment term
