Welcome to the electronic cheque deposit service via ATMs, available 24/7. For your convenience, full integration has been achieved between ATIB's system (Temenos—Transact) and the Central Bank of Libya's clearing system (ECC).

ECC Integrated ATM Cheque Deposit Service

You no longer need to visit the branch to deposit cheques; now, you can easily deposit the cheque at an ATM at any time of the day or week.

All you have to do is follow the steps in the explanatory video to complete the cheque deposit successfully.

Important Additional Information

  1. Use the service with a "Direct" card.
  2. The ATMs available in the first phase are in ATIB branches in Tripoli and Benghazi. The second phase includes Misrata and will be implemented soon. The third phase will cover all ATMs in the markets.
  3. Ensure to insert the cheque correctly, with the orientation vertical and the signature to the right.
  4. This service does not include ATIB cheques; instead, you can use ATIB Online application for internal transfers.
  5. Upon completing the deposit, you will receive a receipt with an image of the cheque and financial information, such as the amount, account number, account holder's name, ATM number, branch name, date, and time. You should take a photo of the receipt with your mobile camera as soon as you receive it to avoid losing it.
  6. The actual deposit into the account is subject to the clearing period and acceptance by the cheque-issuing bank.
